No Meeting This Week, Nov. 21

No Meeting Next Week, Nov. 28
There will be no meeting this Friday, Nov. 21 because the meeting was
canceled to make room in the budget to pay for members to attend the
Nov. 10 Rotary Foundation Dinner.  There has been no meeting the Friday
after Thanksgiving, (this year Nov. 28) for many years. 

 

Notification on Two Proposed Members

This is official notification to the club of the proposed memberships
for Brian Hadley and Ralph E. Lovejoy II.  Dave Miller is sponsor for
Brian, a partner in the Dynamic Marketing Group.  Bob Teague is sponsor
Ralph, a retired investment banker.

Donation Kettle Bell-Ringing Volunteers Needed To Staff Three Saturdays



Chair Lee Wensil needs volunteers to serve two-hour shifts Nov. 29, Dec.
6 and Dec. 13 at the Salvation Army donation kettles in Park Road
Shopping Center.  The critical need is Saturday, Nov. 29 because we will
not have a meeting before that date.  If you can serve a two-hour shift
between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. at the Harris Teeter or between 10 a.m. and 6
p.m. at Blackhawk Hardware, please contact Lee at at 704-321-1730 ( and
leave their message he is out ), or email him at lrwen at aol.com. You are
welcome to recruit spouses, significant others, or friends to join you
on your shift.  It is good to have two persons at each kettle.  If you
have never rung the bell for the Salvation Army, you should try it.  You
will enjoy it and feel rewarded for having participated.

Club Will Vote Dec. 12 on Officer Nominees
