Jeff Elder did a great job of explaining what the social media Facebook and Twitter are all about and how they are used by individuals and by businesses. He said that Facebook is a much larger company than Twitter with many more employees. It also has much smaller profit margin. He recently was at Stanford University where he was studying social media with a small group of other journalists.
