<p class=MsoNormal>Hackers breaking into the web server for the club’s
website accelerated the need for creation of a new site, now nearly
completed. The new site will have more emphasis on members and club
activities and also have easy links to the newly updated District website and
the Rotary International website, including a newsfeed from RI. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>The new site (<a
href="http://www.charlottedilworthrotary.org/">www.charlottedilworthrotary.org/</a>)
has been designed to be more attractive to prospective members looking for
our club and to identify our club’s geographic location within
Charlotte, including links to information about Charlotte, Dilworth
neighborhood and South End. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p class=MsoNormal>Our club is active in a number of projects, both for World
Community service and Local Community service. It is planned for more
specific information and photographs to be available on the website about
these projects. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p class=MsoNormal>The home page will feature the “Dashboard”
with current membership information. There is also a box that displays the
sum of volunteer hours recorded by the club with a link to the volunteer
hours sign-in page. We have been averaging about 1000 hours recorded per
year, but likely many hours go unrecorded. Please take a few minutes after
your volunteer time to record it on the website. <o:p></o:p></p>
