the Club’s Sept. 18 meeting. Eric, CEO of Cornerstone Real Estate
Group, Inc., was sponsored by Frank Kiker. He has known Frank for about 13
years and Frank has brought Eric as a guest a number of times. Eric felt that
Rotary’s goals and mission fit with community service he was already
performing.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class=MsoNormal>A native of Charlotte, he was graduated from East
Mecklenburg High School and attended Livingstone College in Salisbury and
UNCC. He worked as an officer with the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s
Department for four years.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class=MsoNormal>He enjoys spending time with his wife, Leanna, and their
four sons, Elijah, 8; twins Josiah and Jalen, 7; and Joshua, 2. He also
enjoys mentoring young boys at Elizabeth Traditional School. <o:p></o:p></p>

Dilworth South End Rotary Club's fundraiser will be held on November 4, 2009
and promises to be fun for all. Restaurants will contribute a portion of
their receipts to Dilworth Charities on that date in exchange for publicity
encouraging Rotarians in our District to eat out in these restaurants.
